The analytics dashboard creators from underserved communities actually needed.
Ripple was crafted at the intersection of inclusivity and intelligence. Most analytics tools were never designed with underserved creators in mind. The data is there, but the meaning isn't. This project set out to change that by designing a dashboard that doesn't just display numbers, but translates them into decisions. Every metric was chosen deliberately. Every view was designed to reduce overwhelm and increase confidence, so creators could spend less time decoding data and more time creating.

Problem
Creators are drowning in data that doesn't speak to them, metrics that overwhelm rather than inform, and platforms that weren't built with their realities in mind.
The social media analytics landscape has a trust problem. Dashboards are built for marketers, not creators, and certainly not for creators from underserved communities who need clarity the most. The data exists, but it's buried in complexity, stripped of context, and presented without guidance. 76% of creators find analytics dashboards overwhelming. Only 38% feel current tools meet their needs for customisation and inclusivity. And creators in underserved regions are 42% less likely to receive actionable insights from the platforms they rely on. The result is a growing gap between creators who can decode their performance and those who are left guessing; not because of talent, but because of tools.

That meant stripping away vanity metrics, redesigning data visualizations for genuine readability, and building customization into the foundation rather than the settings page. The concept is simple but demanding, make complex information feel human, and make every creator feel like the platform was built specifically for them.
